Over-rafter insulation system - LINITHERM PAL HW

Insulation core: PU rigid foam acc. to EN 13165, fire behavior class E acc. to EN 13501-1, coated with aluminum film on both sides

Facing: Covered with a 22 mm P5 particle Board for attaching the slates or metal roofing

Edge joints: Tongue & groove pressfit joints on all sides, derived wood panel with T&G and 2mm expansion joint

Please note: When building the sub-roof and the entire roof support structure, the rules of the trade as well as the notes and guidelines in the separate Linzmeier leaflet must be observed.

​For some time now, metal roofs have gained more and more importance in architecture as they allow attractive roof geometries and therefore more design options. The sports trained in the Cambridge Sports Centre require different hall ceiling heights. To optimally balance the different height requirements, the 5,000m² roof was arched

The top of the steel beams was covered with one layer of trapezoidal steel sheet and a vapour barrier, followed by LINITHERM PAL OSB sloped-roof insulating elements with a thickness of only 135mm.
